This is an amazing find out of the teen fiction section. IT isn't one of the ones that blew up when dystopia became so popular, but it is so much better than others I have read. There are a lot of political effects in the book. It has enough explanation to understand how you could get to that dystopian future type. A classic story of teens rebelling against a system that keeps them down, but this system has the ability to kill them. Chilling in some parts and all around a wonderful book.
In a future world where those between the ages of thirteen and eighteen can have their lives "unwound" and their body parts harvested for use by others, three teens go to extreme lengths to survive until they turn eighteen.
