The Name of the Wind is a book that will bring you back from your reading hiatus. You'll stay up all night with the characters because you won't be able to put it down. You'll laugh, cry, rage and love with these characters. I don't want to give too much away by going into the details of the book, but be prepared for magic, mayhem, rivilries, love, romance, adventure, loss, folklore and coming of age. The Name of the Wind is the best book I've read in a very long time. I highly recommend it, especially if you enjoyed Harry Potter-J.K. Rowling or His Dark Material Trilogy-Phillip Pullman.
