Most of Etgar Keret's short stories are very short...like 3-5 pages short. This makes for a great "on the go" book. The stories often involve a normal, everyday situation that sometimes twists into a tragic or sometimes magical event. I spent more time reflecting on the message behind each story than I spent actually reading the stories. For movie buffs: The final story "Kneller's Happy Campers" inspired the movie "Wristcutters" starring Patrick Fugit.
Offers a collection of warped and candid stories, including "Goodman," "Breaking the Pig," and "The Story about a Bus Driver who Wanted to be God.".
