The best horror kids book you will EVER read!
Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark is the first book I can remember reading. I can say it is also the first book to ever keep me up at night. Comprised of 29 short (some only one page long) stories based mainly on folklore and urban legends. What makes this one of the best kid books I have read is the art work. Stephen Gammell's artwork is what gives the stories the extra creep factor, and is ultimately what keeps you up at night. It is what kid nightmares are made of. EVERYONE should read this book!
