This novel is my all-time favorite, bar none. Though it is just one of the famous "Discworld" novels, it stands on its own as a complete and brilliant work of fiction, bringing humor, heart, and Pratchett's unforgettable grasp of human nature to the table. I consider it a great Feminist masterpiece, not to be missed. It has everything. Laughter, tears, action, camaraderie, philosophy, triumph, wit, and a powerful backbone of truth. Read this book.
