I want my hat back, too.
I Want My Hat Back is an emotional roller coaster. It is a tale of searching, trust, and betrayal. The story opens with our main character, a bear, trying to find his hat. He confronts all of the people in his bear world to see if they have seen it. The bear must come to terms with the fact that maybe his friends are not as truthful as he thought they were. In a world full of longing, one bear must go against all odds to be reunited with his one true friend: his hat.
The bear's hat is gone, and he wants it back. Patiently and politely, he asks the animals he comes across, one by one, whether they have seen it. Told completely in dialogue, this delicious take on the classic repetitive tale plays out in sly illustrations laced with visual humor. Full color.
