Greg Berlanti has brought "Justice" to The Flash's silver screen adaptation. The Flash played by Grant Gustin plays the role of Barry Allen better than I could have ever hoped. All aspects of Barry's life are covered on the show. His geekiness, intelligence as a forensic investigator, his timid and cute nature around Iris West, and much more are featured prominently. He was raised by his dad's best friend Det. Joe West when his dad was accused of murdering his mom. I love how the past is mentioned and shown living with the West Family including Iris. Barry received his power being struck by lightning along with different chemicals changing his body structure; giving him the speed powers he currently displays. along the way during the 1st season, he comes up across a few different people with powers (that's also known as Meta-humans) and finds a way to deal with each situation with smarts as well as powers. It's not all mindless punching and kicking. A lot of detail on how to stop these meta-humans went into place. It shows the personal journey that he goes through in each episode. The character growth for all members of the cast are great and given time to have each one grow makes it worth watching. It is indeed a great show and a must see.
After an accident with a particle accelerator gives Barry Allen super powers, he becomes the Flash and uses his power to fight crime.
