If you love thrillers and horror movies, you will love this book. Quincy is just your average college girl until she becomes the lone survivor of a massacre in the woods. Propelled from anonymous person to the eponymous "final girl," Quincy fights for normalcy and finds it for a short time. She soon finds her life under attack again as one of the three final girls from recent history is brutally murdered and the other pops up after decades off the grid. This book had an excellent twist that I did not see coming. The writing is compelling and the characters complex. Well worth the read.
Emerging a lone survivor of a serial killer's massacre a decade earlier, a former college student struggles to ignore traumatic memories and move on as one of a group of other survivors who look to her for answers when one of them is found dead in a suspicious suicide.
