Das Bueh, das vollendet vor mir liegt, wendet sicb in erster Linie an Anatomen und Chirurgen, aber aucb an weitere Kreise wissenschaftlieher Arbeiter, an Studierende, an A.rzte. Es entbii.lt eine Darstellung der Spongiosaarchitek turen des mensehliehen Korpers und ibrer Entwicklung in Wortund Bild. Von den Abbildungen soleher Strukturen, die man in A tlanten und Monograpbien findet, sind nur wenige wirklieb gut, d. h. so klar, daB sie aHe F'einbeiten und Sebonheiten des Baues erkennen lassen. Das liegt zum Teil daran, daB man aus den Knoehen oft allzu diinne Scheiben, die unseligen Fournierblatter, beraus gesii.gt oder selbst Sehliffe von ihnen angefertigt und diese oder jene abgebildet bat; durcb die angewandte Methode ist viel wicbtiges Material verloren worden. In den iiblieben Bescbreibungen nebmen die Antoren nur auf die Schnittbilder Riieksicht, sie iiberseben dabei ganz, daB die Spongiosa ein korperliebes, drei dimensionales Gebilde ist. Eine Ausnahme macbt nur E. Albert, dessen treffliehe Arbeiten viel zu wenig Beaebtung gefunden baben. Mit den erwii.hnten Mangeln hangt as zusammen, daB die Ansiebten iiber die gestaltliehe und die funktionelle Bedeutung der Spongiosaarchitekturen noeh nicht vollig geklart sind.

  • Very Good (VG): Will show some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it.
  • Good (G): Attractive and well cared for, but no longer fresh. Minor signs of wear, scuffing or scratching, but will play almost perfectly. For vinyl: barely detectable crackles or pops.
  • Fair (FR): This item is in okay condition. For vinyl: good is not so good and the record may have low level crackles or pops when playing. CD: one or more tracks may skip.
  • Poor (P): Obviously well-worn and handled. Most vinyl collectors will not buy good or below, but some tracks on CD or vinyl will play.
