Though having since been refuted and disproven, Michelle Remembers launched the Satanic Panic in mainstream culture, as well as law enforcement and social services training, in Canada and the U. S. Though now less mainstream, the mythology established in Michelle Remembers still informs contemporary conspiracy theories of QAnon and the belief that politicians and other wealthy elites traffic children for use in Satanic rituals.
