This limited eddition Alison Krauss & Union Station record is a special one. The Bluegrass superstar teamed up with Union Station to record their first ever live recording using Sony's DSD recording format. They recorded over a two evening period, April 29th and 30th of 2002, at the Louisville Palace in Louisville, Kentucky (except one cut - Down To the River To Pray which was recorded at the Austin City Limits TV show) Union Station's core members, Dan Tyminsky on guitar, mando, and baritone vocals, Ron Block on banjo, guitar, and tenor vocals, and Barry Bales on acoustic bass, are joined by Jerry Douglas on dobro and Larry Atamanuik on drums, along with Alison Krauss's amazing vocals, this created a beautifullly recorded session wrapped into one record. This record is in near fine condition, containing 3 LP's of live recordings along with an information booklet about the live recording, a simply must have for true Bluegrass listeners.
