Overview

Ezra Pound had been living in Italy for several years when "Imaginary Letters" was published. He was credited with influencing several early twentieth century authors including James Joyce, Ernest Hemingway and T.S. Eliot. First edition, numbered and printed on Navarre paper (70/350). The original printing was limited to 350 total copies, with the first 50 being signed by Ezra Pound. The glassine jacket has grown quite brittle over the years and has multiple chips and tears, but is intact. The cover is split along the length of the spine, but otherwise very clean with minimal wear. It appears that the glassine jacket has likely been on the book since it was printed. 56 pages with deckled edges. The pages are all clean and bright.
