"My journey with Half Price Books began in 2011. I was fresh out of college, and much like Charlotte from Pride and Prejudice I was thinking, "I've no money and no prospects. I'm already a burden to my parents and I'm frightened." I happened to see a now hiring sign at our location in Cedar Rapids and thought working at a bookstore for a little while would be fun. Half Price Books took a chance on me and I fell in love with the job and the company. I moved to this location in 2013 and have had the honor of being the Store Manager since 2021. Stop in and see what makes this place so special to so many people."

We’re Closed For Thanksgiving
