HPB Preston Village

I was exiting 635 for Preston and I just happen to go over and see half price books which I didnt even know that these places still existed. I grew up right next to one in Mesquite and I used to love going in there every opportunity that my aunt will take you there and so of course I stopped by to check it out, of course and the day I was there that was actually an author doing a book signing, which was pretty awesome. This store seems to get tons of traffic, which is also really awesome. They have so much material in there for anything you could possibly want for every age Im serious like anyone even if you dont even like to read, she go inside here and just look around because by the end of it, you will like to read and for whatever reason if you cant read well, youre in luck too because theres tons of CDs and movies and toys and games and just everything that you can imagine in there! Try to imagine Goodwill but like 1 million times cleaner and better and the staff is super polite. Theyre not pretentious at all like some places are like this cough, cough vape shops.

Best price for the most unique and hard to find books. You can find so many great comic books, cookbooks, and college prep books. The employees are very helpful and friendly, and the store is well kept. Definitely returning.

Very nice book store. I went to join a group to play mahjong and was impressed with the cleanliness and wide variety of books available. Nice coffee shop adjoins with pastries and sandwiches. Restrooms were clean. Very impressive. I visited two days in a row.

They always have something new or old for half the price you would find it anywhere else! They absolutely live up to the name. Everything is extremely well organized and easy to find. I do miss the free coffee though (^_^)

For an adult, walking into this building is the equivalent of a child entering a candy store. The only difference is I have to pay for it myself.I was absolutely smitten.The pictures attached are just some of the series I was able to find. I wish I wasnt on a vacation so I couldve taken them all home with me. But limiting myself to 10 books was hard (maybe thats why my duffle bag ripped coming home)!
