I needed a copy of Their Eyes Were Watching God for a Book Club read, and because I bought this novel so many times over the years I decided to come to Half Price Books. With it being Black History Month the book was right in the front of the store, so I didnt have to search through books to find it. I grabbed this cute bookmark too for .49. Im a big E-Reader, but Ive recently gone back to physical books, so Ill definitely be back for more bookmarks. I also went through their random record collection which is always a treat.

Forget shopping for clothes and high-maintenance junk. I want to get my nerd on, and this is one of my favorite stores, with such a huge selection of books/topics, music (CD's, records, cassettes), DVD's/VHS, shirts, bookmarks, games, journals, notecards, etc..etc. Some of the employees look like they don't want to be there, but hey, I get it, and I don't recall anyone ever actually being rude. Cashiers are always really friendly though. My only thing is they no longer pay as much for books and CD's.

Love this place. Displays and products are constantly changing/updating. Theres always something new to find and see. Prices are great. Staff is very friendly and helpful and knowledgeable. Plenty of parking.

Amazing bookstore. I found so many books to bring home, but was delighted to learn there are also board and card games, puzzles, and other fun items. I will definitely return. Best bookstore I've been to in ages!!!
