Your Clearwater HPB has a rare find: a first edition, second printing, 1843 copy of A Christmas Carol, In Prose, Being a Ghost Story of Christmas, by Charles Dickens, with illustrations by John Leech. Published by Chapman & Hall, the book retains the original brown cloth with gilt wreath on the front, yellow end papers and includes four hand-colored plates. A true collector’s item.
